That’s what the motto says. So, when you are a superstar in the NFL and a Texas native, chances are everything you do is big. And that is exactly what Denver Bronco defensive end Von Miller did for the DeSoto Police Department.
With a little help and a lot of love from the pros here at SkinzWraps, the Desoto High School alum, and former Texas A&M football player donated a new, custom wrapped 2016 Ford Explorer designed by SkinzWraps to the DeSoto Police Department.

On July 8, in front of the city’s mayor, city council members, and city administration, Miller donated the vehicle as a way to thank the many people who work tirelessly and unselfishly to keep his hometown safe. He also graciously pledged to donate $25,000 a year for up to 10 years to cover scholarships to help those individuals who want to attend the DeSoto Fire Training Center and become a part of the DeSoto Fire Rescue could do so.
How the Wrapped SUV Donation Happened?
As a native of DeSoto, Texas, Miller decided that he wanted to give back to his community in a major way. This lead him to make a charitable contribution to his local police and fire department.
Prior to the donation on July 8, SkinzWraps was contacted and advised on the gifted SUV that was to be made to the police department. From there, our team collaborated with the DeSoto Police Department and Von Miller’s camp to create a custom SUV graphic that personified the DeSoto Police Department.
From the time of the call, the graphics team at SkinzWraps worked for days to deliver an SUV that would make everyone involved and the city of DeSoto proud. 10 days later, on Jul 8, the Ford SUV was delivered by Von Miller himself.
In a tweet from the DeSoto Police Department, they thanked Miller and praised him for signing autographs stating,
“Thank you @Millerlite40 for donating this vehicle to us & signing autographs today. #givingback”
All in all, the experience was amazing, and the staff at SkinzWraps were extremely happy to have been a part of it!
